This year, as they both turned 30, the stars aligned in the most beautiful way: they got married on their shared birthday. Their destination wedding unfolded over three unforgettable days—February 8–10, 2025—at the breathtaking Le Meridien Resort in Khao Lak, Thailand. Rooted in the vibrant traditions of a colorful Indian wedding but infused with modern flair, the celebration reflected Vruti and Vraj’s adventurous spirits and shared love for meaningful experiences. Every detail—from the decor to the guest activities—was thoughtfully designed to celebrate not only their union, but the extraordinary journey that brought them there. Highlights included a haldi ceremony that turned into a Vegas-style pool party and a beachfront wedding and birthday celebration lit by fire dancers under the stars.
Vruti & Vraj’s story began in San Francisco. On their very first date, the connection was undeniable. By the end of the night, both of them had called their parents to say, “I think I’ve met the one.” They were so excited by the spark they felt that they decided to see each other again the very next day—and from that moment on, they were inseparable.
It was only fitting that 1 year later, Vraj proposed in the same city that sparked it all. He chose the Palace of Fine Arts, with the ocean breeze swirling around them and the iconic Golden Gate Bridge—Vruti and Vraj’s favorite landmark—standing tall in the background. As if that moment wasn’t magical enough, Vraj had planned a surprise celebration afterward, bringing together Vruti’s closest friends and family. He coordinated with loved ones across the country, even flying many in, to make sure she felt surrounded by all the people who mattered most.
