Tara + Vignesh, a Boston City Wedding

Inspired by the city of Boston, Tara and Vignesh selected locations for their wedding week that showcased the beauty of the city, which ultimately led to an enchanted evening of dining amidst an indoor forest. As the main hub for the remainder of their multi-day Indian wedding, Boston’s Newbury Hotel not only blended a classic but modern feel but also overlooked the Boston Public Garden.

An indoor ceremony was held in the glamorous Assembly room, with modern glass chandeliers and sweeping windows that overlooked the gardens. Pastel flowers lined the aisle, which led to an altar of florals suspended from the ceiling in tones of peach, pink, ivory, and purple. Walls were draped in white fabrics that created a heavenly and airy feel.

After the ceremony, Tara changed from her vibrant red and gold look into a cream and pastel wedding lehenga. The ballroom also transformed as they brought in live trees, while hundreds of candles hovered above the tables and dangled from glass orbs within the installations.

Capping off a night of enchantment, guests danced across a custom-printed black dance floor while a magical white wedding cake was served with a flourish of gold foil detail.
