They say shoot your shot…
It all began at a backyard party when a guy and a girl were paired together for a game of cornhole. Neither of them knew many people there, so to her that meant ‘take it easy,’ but to him that meant it was a ‘must win!’ Turns out, they were both really bad at cornhole, but really good at making each other laugh. Fast forward to the school year, and the girl is in his best friend’s design group. That’s how they got to know each other, and why their first date was in the college library (neeeerrrrrrds). Fate had a way of bringing them together in the end.
HOW THEY GOT ENGAGED
The start to forever
The day started off with a romantic brunch at their favorite DC restaurant, Blue Duck Tavern, followed by a walk by the Tidal Basin where the couple was serenaded by a string quartet playing their favorite song, La Vie En Rose. Following a slow dance, Sunakshi spun to find Tyler on one knee with the National Mall and ice blue water of the Tidal Basin creating the perfect backdrop for a moment they would never forget. The couple’s family flew and drove down to celebrated the bride and groom with a nice sit down dinner and drinks. It was the perfect start to the many celebrations to come!
