So our story began in 2013 when we entered medical school as batchmates . We were just awkward teenagers struggling with the everyday challenges of med school.we never spoke much to each other during the entire time of our graduation maybe shy and awkward but fate had its way .during our internship we became friends and sparks flew like nothing else .we had such great chemistry we spent hours talking to each other! Then we finally realised that this was more than friendship. Then during our common night duties at the hospital Vishesh decided to propose and for that he decorated our hospital duty room . It was so special and heartwarming because it was all handmade stuff and at the place closest to our hearts! I immediately said yes and so began our beautiful relationship!
Wedding
For the wedding I was very clear about what I wanted ! I wanted something very different not worn before something that combined pastel as well as bright elements! So we went for a custom surabhichopralabel lehanga with a long veil and Vishesh co-ordinated with a custom surabhichopralabel sherwani actually the first ever created by them . The decor was in sync with the outfits with an open air varmala and pink and white floral overhangings .
Mehandi
So we were very excited for the mehandi! The venue being our own farmhouse so this also hit home ! We wanted very different decor that hasn’t been done before so we went for the beautiful peacock theme with complimentary floral decor! We coordinated the outfits accordingly with my lehanga being from ghazalgupta couture. It was pretty ombre pink piece with peacock and radha Krishna details! Vishesh wore a kurta set with multicoloured jacket by siddharthabansal. It was such a fun and colourful event
Reception
So for the reception everything was gold and black themed right from our attire to the decor ! I wore a gold saree with custom veil from Prevasu while my husband went for a black tux from amit Arora ! Plus what made the event extra special was that he had planned a surprise live performance for me ! He sang all our favourite songs it was so magical!it lit up the night so well !
