The Grand Hall at Power & Light is Kansas City’s premier venue for luxury celebrations. And once we saw the gold columns accentuating the venue, we knew that we had to have a South Asian themed wedding shoot in the there! Built in 1931, The Grand Hall retains the splendor of a past era, with modern conveniences & designer touches. Quintessential Events took the idea and created a one-of-a-kind stylized shoot by taking the guesswork out of planning, and added creativity and organization while helping create a truly memorable shoot. We enlisted Kirans Decorations—Kansas City’s go-to cultural diverse event decorating company because all of their decorations are handmade and had a huge variety to choose from! We absolutely loved the doli (or palki) especially with the garlands and floral decorations A&L Floral Designs added to give it an amazingly gorgeous grand entrance look! Their design in the floral details were beautifully captured on canvas by Cindy of TooRooster Artistry! Her unique talent in this stylized shoot was to paint the moment—live on canvas—from the structure of the space to all the unique decor and mood. Mojica Photography then captured the details that each wedding professional brought in from the custom bridal wear and jewelry by Naila’s Bobo Collection to the mendhi designs by Master of Henna! The gorgeously flawless makeup was by Bronzed and Blushed and hair by Posh KC! Models were Priya (in red), Nora Rosemary (in plum), Baldish (in navy) and Pardeep (in white).
