Our love story: How we Meet
We met during the pandemic, thanks to a mutual friend who thought we’d hit it off. It was a tough time for everyone, but he came to visit me in Delaware from Salt lake city. Our first date was on the beach where we just walked in the sand and talked.
I remember feeling nervous as he arrived, but once we started talking, it felt so easy. We shared stories, laughed, and realized we had a lot in common including our love for taco bell. What started as a friendly visit turned into a genuine connection that we both wanted to explore further.
After that initial meeting, we stayed in touch through video calls, chatting about everything from our favorite shows to our hopes for the future. A few months later, I took a trip to Utah to meet his family. I was a bit anxious, but they welcomed me warmly, and it was nice to see where he came from.
He visited me next, and we explored my favorite spots in my state. Each visit brought us closer, and we both knew this was something special.
Looking back, it’s amazing how a mutual relationship brought us together. We’ve created a beautiful relationship and got through 3 years of long distance until we were finally living together, and now we’re excited to start our next chapter as a married couple.
As a little girl who always dreamed about her wedding, I always dreamed of it to be outdoors at The Hyatt by the Chesapeake bay. I remember growing up and pointing at the venue to my parents everytime we drove by it. Who knew 10 years later I will be walking down the isle on the same golf resort I dreamed of. We were thrilled to be hosting our wedding at the Hyatt by the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. This beautiful venue offered breathtaking views of the water, creating a stunning backdrop for our special day. We chose this location for its elegant ambiance and the unique combination of indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing us to celebrate our love surrounded by nature and close to where I grew up.
We planned to have our ceremony outside, with the gentle breeze and shimmering water setting the perfect summer tones in mid June. We created unforgettable memories at Hyatt by the Bay, a place that perfectly captures the essence of our love story and our first date !
We were excited to celebrate our reception in Utah, surrounded by the stunning landscapes and mountains we both adore. This venue offered beautiful views and was perfect for gathering our loved ones to continue the festivities after our wedding.
Utah is known for skiing and we envisioned a cool blue icy theme to represent the cooler weather. The inviting space was filled with personal touches that reflected our journey together. From beautiful decor that highlights the natural beauty of the area, we want our reception to feel like an extension of our love story as well as something unique and grand.
As the sun set over the mountains, we shared laughter, heartfelt speeches, and, of course, plenty of dancing. We can’t wait to cherish these long lasting memories with family and friends forever!
