How We Met
During the pandemic, Saniya and Jeeva went on their first date, expecting a quick dinner. Four hours later, they were still deep in conversation—all because the waiter forgot to bring the check. Neither of them noticed the time passing; they were too busy laughing, sharing stories, and realizing how effortless it all felt. From that day on, they were always on the move, trying every new restaurant they could find, and turning every outing into an adventure. Somewhere between the late-night bites and long city walks, they fell in love and became best friends.
The Proposal
Jeeva knew there was no better place to propose than Roosevelt Island—Saniya’s favorite spot in the city, where she always said the views were unbeatable. To keep it a surprise, he told her they were heading to a birthday picnic for her best friend. But as they arrived at the scenic waterfront, there was no picnic—just the two of them and the breathtaking Manhattan skyline. In that moment, Jeeva got down on one knee and asked Saniya to marry him. Through happy tears, she said yes.
Now, they’re ready for their next big adventure—tying the knot on May 3, 2025, in the beautiful Algarve, Portugal.
