Vision for the wedding
Saba wanted a small one day one event, but quickly realized that wouldn’t be a realistic option – with Imran (like many grooms) having countless friends he considers best friends. Saba’s friends & family reside in Southern California, and it made the most sense to bring the events there, while Imran’s family and extended family flew in from London, Calgary, and Florida. Both families were eager to celebrate the wedding, and it all came together in less than 9 months. They decided on three events – the marriage ceremony also known as the Nikah, the colorful mehndi ceremony filled with dance performances, and then a joint wedding reception. Each event was filled with good food, friends and family from across the world, and everyone coming together to celebrate Saba & Imran’s love.
