Rupa Kamboj & Raj Aulakh – Cinematic Wedding Day Highlights (Sikh) from Robles Video on Vimeo.

On June 21, 2014, Rupa & Raj became husband and wife. They chose to have their wedding at the Four Seasons located in Westlake Village, California. The ceremony began with Raj arriving on a white horse for his baraat. They held a traditional Sikh ceremony outside under the beautiful white gazebo decorated with bright pink, red and white roses, compliments by Manjit!. Following the ceremony, the bride and groom departed with a small doli ceremony. Staying traditional to the Sikh customs, they returned to the groom’s hotel for a proper “welcoming of the bride” ceremony by the groom’s family. The reception followed the next day at the Four Season’s main ballroom.

Behind the scenes: They decided to go with one of our cinematic packages, which included 2-3 Canon 5D Mark III camera coverage of preparation, ceremony and reception. They loved the effect of an overhead camera, so they added on a 25 foot jib crane for their ceremony. They also added on a same day edit, so all of the footage we shot in the morning, was prepared to be shown at the reception! They will receive a full length extended reel (about 3 hours) along with a highlight reel (18minutes). Client will also receive the hard drive with all raw files. (Reception highlight will be coming soon!)
