On February 16, 2013, Roshan & Philip became husband & wife. The two held their Hindu ceremony at the stunning Grand Del Mar resort in San Diego, California. In the bridal suite, Roshan was joined with her friends and family members to all take part of the bride getting ready for her special day. The team from Lin & Jirsa, their photographers, took them out to an awning where they had their first look. Then they took them around the scenic resort for some romantic photos before they headed off to their ceremony. For the baraat, Philip sat atop of Tai, the Asian elephant, while his closest friends and family danced around him with Philadelphia parade umbrellas as he made his way to the mandaap. The backdrop to their ceremony was gorgeous featuring rolling hills and vibrant colors that complimented the white romantic nature of the decor. We want to thank their cooradinator, Stacy Porras, for creating such a beautiful setting for the bride and groom!
Their reception followed shortly after featuring a round bright white dance floor that complimented the couple’s black & white glamourous red carpet attire. The bride’s dress featured a beautiful open back and two butterflies in crystal beading. She also wore a red lip and side swept hair to complete that true hollywood look. During their reception they featured a photo montage and a same day highlight for their guests to enjoy while dinner was being served. The jib that they added on made for dynamic full ballroom coverage, especially when there was energetic dancing on the dance floor.
Behind the scenes: They decided to go with one of our cinematic packages, which included 4 Canon 5D Mark III camera coverage of preparation, ceremony, reception and a Jib (25 foot crane). They will receive a full length extended reel (about 3 hours) along with a same day highlight reel (7 minutes). Client will also receive the hard drive with all raw files.
