In planning our wedding, Ananth and I envisioned staying true to South Indian tradition in a way that had never been done before, having an elaborate Vedic ceremony, serving an authentic wedding lunch on banana leaves, and interlacing our events with the sound of beautiful Carnatic music performed by renowned artists from India. All the while, we wanted to bring in elements of the North, with a Jaipur-themed Sangeet, and the West, with a tea-party themed mehndi and a glamorous, black-tie reception. We were thrilled to have our dream wedding become a reality over a magical five days, and we couldn’t have been happier to be surrounded by our loving friends and family for the most important days of our lives. torry
