The First Wedding Ceremony Knocked off with the “Haldi” Function at Abaan’s Home. It was simply to Welcome and introduce the families of the Bride and Groom to each other. The Home smelled fragrant with the Fresh yellow “Gendas” & the beautiful white “Lilies”. First the Bride is applied home-made Haldi as a religious omen before the wedding day so that she naturally looks more fair & glowing. After a warm shower She gets ready for the evening function where Beautiful flower garlands are placed upon the bride-groom and near & dear guests, gifts and money are exchanged and the elder family members give their blessings. Then… an elaborate feast follows!!
