On December 28, 2013, Rashmi, Neil and Mira became a family! They chose to have their wedding at the very historical Biltmore located in Phoenix, Arizona. This wedding was extra special to us because we covered the bride’s sister’s wedding over a year ago (vimeo.com/40003577). When Rashmi called us for her wedding we were excited to return to Arizona. When we arrived on the wedding day, we quickly fell in love with Mira, Rashmi’s 8 year old daughter. She is the cutest little girl. She told me how much she was looking forward to Neil becoming her dad! When I travel I often miss my own daughter Asha, so being with Mira on this special day, filled the missing hole in my heart for Asha.
They held a traditional South Indian ceremony outside under a beautiful white column mandap. Following the ceremony, the reception followed in the evening at the in the main ballroom.
Behind the scenes: They decided to go with one of our cinematic packages, which included 3 Canon 5D Mark III camera coverage of preparation, ceremony and reception. They also added on a same day edit, so all of the footage we shot in the morning, was prepared to be shown at the reception! They will receive a full length extended reel (about 3 hours) along with a highlight reel (7 minutes). Client will also receive the hard drive with all raw files.
