On August 2, 2013, Payal and Stuart became husband and wife. They chose to have their wedding at the Rancho Las Lomas located in Silverado, California. The ceremony began with a Stuart arriving on a silver convertible Mercedes Benz, what a entrance! Jess Torray, the dhol player, led the procession into the ceremony area. Pundit Mahesh Bhatt, the Indian preist, conducted the traditional Gujarati ceremony outside in the open-air theater. Their coordinator, Mili Shah, did an amazing job bringing the whole event together. Sitting under ancient oak and sycamore trees, it was the perfect setting for this ceremony . Following the ceremony, the bride and groom departed with a small viddai ceremony. The reception followed in the evening at the El Tetro patio under the stars.
So when I started to edit the highlight, I was taken back with their selection of music they submitted. I usually edit to Indian songs, and they submitted all upbeat mainstream and retro music. It was a challenge to edit this highlight because I wanted them to love it and I wanted the music to flow. I think I accomplished that!
Behind the scenes: They decided to go with one of our cinematic packages, which included 2 Canon 5D Mark III camera coverage of preparation, ceremony and reception.
