Josh is half South Indian, half Jamaican, and I (Nisha) am Gujarati. We knew we wanted to plan a wedding that brought together the richness of our three cultures in a beautiful destination. We serendipitously chose Moon Palace in Ocho Rios. When we let Josh‘s mother know, she was overwhelmed with emotion – we had no idea that this was the same beach she used to play on every Saturday with her grandparents. It was the same beach where her parents and grandparents got married, too.
It was so special for us to bring together the beauty of a big fat Indian wedding to the serene backdrop of Ocho Rios.
