On October 11, 2013, Manisha and Piyush became husband and wife. They chose to have their wedding at the Waterford Banquet Center located in Elmhurst, IL. The ceremony began with a Piyush arriving on a white horse for his baraat. They held a traditional Gujarati ceremony under a purple drapped mandap. Following the ceremony, the bride and groom made a grand departed on a helicopter. They spent their first hour together as husband and wife enjoying the views of Chicago.
We always enjoy when client’s fly us out to cover their wedding, it even makes it better when we get couples who are fun to work with. This couple was beyond kind to us when we arrived, and was excited to have us there. It’s client’s like this, that make it all worth it!
Behind the scenes: They decided to go with one of our cinematic packages, which included 2 Canon 5D Mark III camera coverage of preparation, ceremony and reception. We also shot portions of the wedding with the 10 foot jib to give a more cinematic feel. They will receive a full length extended reel (about 3 hours) along with a highlight reel (12 minutes). Client will also receive the hard drive with all raw files.
