Blog Krishma + Dhiren, A Dallas, Texas Wedding
The culture and heritage were at the heart of our four-day wedding celebration in Dallas, Texas.
We began with the Couple’s Pithi, designed as a vibrant homage to their proposal in Chefchaouen, Morocco. The setting recreated the charm of the city’s iconic blue doors, reflecting both the couple’s personal love story and traditional South Asian rituals.
The next evening was the Mehndi, which merged South Asian heritage with high-fashion inspiration. Drawing cues from the Dior gateway to India fashion show, the celebration featured bold colors, intricate floral artistry, and modern design elements that highlighted the bride’s fashion-forward vision while staying rooted in cultural tradition.
For the Saatak, both families came together in a pastel-hued ceremony, blending his-and-her designs. The event symbolized the blessing of their maternal and paternal lineages, honoring heritage while embracing a soft, modern palette of colors.
Their wedding ceremony was an elegant fusion of tradition and modernity. Set against tones of sage, muted blues, and soft neutrals, the mandap and floral installations honored South Asian rituals while feeling refreshingly contemporary and timeless.
The weekend concluded with a dazzling Reception, a celebration that married the couple’s love for both romance and nightlife. Designed as a “chandelier nightclub meets romantic garden,” the evening paired lush florals with dramatic lighting, evoking the energy of an EDM concert while preserving the elegance of a grand family gathering. The night overflowed with food, dancing, and joy as two families came together to celebrate the union.
