Their wedding spanned four days, and each event was imbued with the rich colors and customs of their Bengali Muslim heritage. The celebrations started with a vibrant Mehendi, where friends and family got together to laugh, talk, and create beautiful designs with henna. The Haldi ceremony followed, marked by playful hues and laughter, with Ireen in a vibrant pink and yellow banarasi sari and Tanjeev in a blue sherwani.The main wedding day was a spectacle of elegance and tradition, with Ireen in a pink embroidered saree, and Tanjeev in a tan sherwani. Adding a touch of playful tradition, the shoe-stealing ritual brought laughter and light-heartedness, with Ireen’s family and friends trying to steal Tanjeev’s shoes right after the ceremony. The nighttime reception at a picturesque resort saw Ireen in a dazzling silver and red lehenga and Tanjeev in a sharp suit, celebrating their union with friends and family. Their wedding, culminating on New Year’s, was not just a union of two souls but a vibrant celebration of life, love, and new beginnings.
