Ireen & Tanjeev, a Scottsdale Wedding

How We Met
Our story began in the digital world, a modern tale of connection amidst the vast expanse of the internet. We started with tentative messages, exploring our likes and dislikes, our dreams and fears. It wasn’t long before our online chats became the highlights of our day. After weeks of messaging, we decided it was time to take the next step: a FaceTime call. The call was a blur of laughter, shared stories, and the realization that we had a truly special connection. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Wedding Story

Their wedding spanned four days, and each event was imbued with the rich colors and customs of their Bengali Muslim heritage. The celebrations started with a vibrant Mehendi, where friends and family got together to laugh, talk, and create beautiful designs with henna. The Haldi ceremony followed, marked by playful hues and laughter, with Ireen in a vibrant pink and yellow banarasi sari and Tanjeev in a blue sherwani. The main wedding day was a spectacle of elegance and tradition, with Ireen in a pink embroidered saree, and Tanjeev in a tan sherwani. Adding a touch of playful tradition, the shoe-stealing ritual brought laughter and light-heartedness, with Ireen’s family and friends trying to steal Tanjeev’s shoes right after the ceremony. The nighttime reception at a picturesque resort saw Ireen in a dazzling silver and red lehenga and Tanjeev in a sharp suit, celebrating their union with friends and family. Their wedding, culminating on New Year’s, was not just a union of two souls but a vibrant celebration of life, love, and new beginnings.
