On September 15, 2013, 2013, Dolly and Jay became husband and wife. This wedding was special to us because the groom’s sister, Neha Shah, is a long time friend to Robles Video. Neha is a wedding coordinator and owns Blue Lotus Insights Wedding Coordiantion. They chose to have the wedding celebration at the Eaglewood Resort & Spa in Itasca, Illinois. The ceremony began with a Jay arriving on a white horse for his baraat. They held a traditional Gujarati ceremony under a beutiful white tent decorated with large bouquets of colorful roses. Following the ceremony, they held a viddai ceremony, where Dolly’s family said goodbye and gave her well wishes in her new journey in life.
Behind the scenes: They decided to go with one of our cinematic packages, which included 2 Canon 5D Mark III camera coverage of preparation, ceremony and reception. They also added on a same day highlight! Everyhing we covered during the day, was shown at their reception in the evening. They will receive a full length extended reel (about 3 hours) along with a highlight reel (8 minutes). Client will also receive the hard drive with all raw files.
