Our team had the absolute joy of planning Cheryl and Akshay’s breathtaking Malayalam Christian wedding right here in Houston. It was a day that blended timeless elegance with the couple’s beautiful traditions, all wrapped in the most romantic color palette of blush pink, white, and lush greenery.
The morning began with the sweetest church ceremony. Cheryl looked radiant in her lace-detailed gown, and Akshay couldn’t have looked more handsome in his navy suit. The moment they locked eyes walking down the aisle was filled with so much love—it set the perfect tone for the rest of the day. Their celebration continued at
The Corinthian, which Dipti and the Mandap Creations team completely transformed into a floral wonderland. Everywhere you looked, there were lush blush blooms and cascading greenery. Guests enjoyed an incredible dinner by Churrascos, followed by the most gorgeous four-tier cake from Who Made the Cake—simple, elegant, and adorned with fresh florals.
Later that evening, Cheryl and Akshay made a grand entrance in traditional Indian attire. Cheryl was glowing in her saree, and Akshay looked so regal in his sherwani. One of my favorite parts of the night was their sweet Milk Ceremony, a touching nod to tradition that had everyone smiling.
From there, the night came alive. DJ Scoop with Karma DJs had the dance floor packed, and the laughter spilling from the photo booth made the joy in the room impossible to miss.
