Anmol + Anmol, A Royalton Splash Wedding

We met while we were working in uni/end of high school in fall of 2013. To be honest, I used to think it wasn’t meet cute but in my mind and most importantly- heart. She just stood out from our first interaction. She completely blew me away, I had never met anyone like her. She was different. It’s rare in life to meet someone who has such a spark in them, makes you want to hold on to them. We went out separate paths after but she still remained on my mind.
As years went by whenever I used to think about the future and who I wanted to be with, I always used to visualize her. Around 3 years ago, just by chance we happened to reconnect and it just instantly clicked. It was like whatever I had been missing my whole life was her. We were pretty much inseparable after the first time we met after all those years. We went to the drive in theatre as our first date, it’s funny because we just talked through the entire movie. We were more into each other than wanting to watch this movie. The moment I looked into her eyes my heart was her, it was always hers all these years.
Also, we decided for a destination wedding because we really wanted an outdoor setting. That’s why we fought with the resort and took a risk that nobody ever took in their history to proceed with our setup despite a thunderstorm warning and while it did end up raining. Despite all that I had faith in our destinies and knew nothing could keep me from marrying her. I love mexico and it’s unpredictable weather for coming as quickly as it went.
